Servicing & Repairs

At Devon Garden Machinery, we pride ourselves in the quality of service and expertise we provide to our customers through a fully equipped workshop and servicing department. Decades of industry hardened experience is brought to the fore by our team of professional fitters who will happily look after professional and domestic garden machinery with the same level of care and attention afforded to both.

Our servicing department boasts a fully equipped grinding bay to cater for our golf course and amenity maintenance customers. Professional and commercial customers include a large percentage of the South West’s Golf Clubs where we not only install all ground and turf care equipment but also hold full service contracts. A fleet of fully equipped service vans are always on standby should the unexpected occur, keeping us fully mobile throughout the year and able to respond at short notice to any emergency call-out. To maintain the highest levels of expertise and professionalism, our workshop fitters regularly attend training courses and seminars hosted by manufacturers and industry leaders, receiving professional qualifications at completion.

We always welcome new business and rarely turn a job down, so if you have a favourite cylinder mower that needs a regrind or ride-on mower that’s suffering from neglect, bring it to us for a check-up. Alongside the standard servicing and repair work that we carry-out on all domestic and commercial groundcare machinery, we regularly maintain generators, utility vehicles, compact tractors and cultivators, not forgetting hedge trimmers, chainsaws, brush cutters and leaf vacuums.

DGM are proud to announce that we have become an authorised Aspen Service Dealer.

For a long time there has been a question over the quality of fuel we put into our handheld machinery. Pump fuel has a short shelf life (just over 30 days or so) and this can cause difficulties when starting your machine. If you have a 2 stroke engine then you need to add oil.(the right ratio of course?). With Aspen 2 fuel you eliminate the hassle, inconvenience and potential problems caused by incorrect mixing or old fuel.

Aspen has a 'shelf' life of 5 years. Giving you peace of mind everytime you want to use your machinery that you've invested in and want to keep in good condition. Aspen avoids the ash and soot deposits that build up as it contains none of the harmful additives normal unleaded contains.

Thats why at DGM, every domestic handheld machine we service comes with Aspen in the tank. New domestic handheld and walk behind mowerswill also have Aspen in the tank ready to go.
